Ampezzo

The start and end of this route are set in Piazza Zona Libera 1944 in the Municipality of Val Tagliamento of Ampezzo.

It starts, if you want, with the Blue Route , a nice ride through the alleys of Ampezzo, to then move on to visiting (but you can also do it at the end of the route if you want) the Geological Museum and Davanzo Art Gallery as well as the Pieve archpriest of the BV del Rosario and S. Daniele.

After the visit, we leave for the town of Socchieve, we first go to visit the church of San Biagio (15th century) in the hamlet of Mediis, after visiting the interesting little church we head to Pieve di Castoia , the mother church of the valley.

Then down towards the town of Socchieve, where in the summer it is possible to visit the historic Rassega Carnica "Art, Culture, Work".

We now head across the Tagliamento river towards the Vallo del Littorio , a set of fortifications from the Second World War, located near the town of Preone.

We then move on to the Enemonzo area, to visit the small church of the Beata Vergine della Consolazione , before the climb that leads to the hamlets of Colza, Maiaso and Fresis, with the respective churches of San Giorgio, San Nicolò and Santa Giuliana.

From Fresis, where you can admire beautiful panoramas, you go down again towards Enemonzo, here you face the "overview" of the hamlets of Viaso and Lungis, to find yourself in Mediis and then go back up to Ampezzo.
