Carnia Cycling Tour is a package of 4 cycling routes, of medium difficulty, designed and created to introduce the cyclist to the territory, nature, history and culture of Carnia.

4 tours, with an average distance of 50 km and 900 meters of altitude difference , to be tackled by eBike or classic mountain bike. Along their route, they encounter points of natural, historical and cultural interest to visit and admire. You will be able to find information and descriptions of the points to visit, through short cards, directly on your mobile phone, from the website where   you will find the explanation slides.

To make the tour a pleasant experience in the mountains of Carnia, we recommend some precautions:

1. Plan your outing well, above all calculate the time needed to visit the points of interest indicated, and study carefully the place where you can stop for a lunch break, as well as recharge the assisted bike if necessary.

2. Remember that you are always in a mountain area and the weather changes quickly, especially in the afternoon, always bring with you clothing to protect from the rain and look for shelter if necessary.

3. Prepare all your equipment for possible punctures, the tours are almost entirely on asphalt, but a puncture is always lurking.

4. If you are alone, remember to advise where you are going and what tour you are taking and perhaps when you are.

5. Strictly respect the highway code, we have tried to plan tours on state, provincial and municipal roads with little traffic, but despite this there is danger.

Since there are points of interest to visit on the routes, you will find stands for bicycles at the sites, but to avoid not being able to lock your bike, we recommend getting a padlock with a chain.
