Here we are in Ovaro, at the foot of the climb of the famous Zoncolan stage of the Giro d'Italia. The departure is the same, the route undoubtedly changes. Head now, going down towards the Degano River, to the church of San Martino Vescovo with the annexed excavations of the early Christian church from the 5th century AD. Go up to the town of clocks, Pesariis , a hamlet of Prato Carnico.
Here you can admire the large clocks, scattered through the streets of the town, listen to the concert of bells (regulated by a clock) at the town church and also visit the Pesariis watchmaking museum , a nice visit can also be made at the Casa Bruseschi Museum (near the church), a view of the Carnic house from the 18th/19th century.
After some time, which in Pesariis flows without realizing it, we set off again and descend towards Prato Carnico, to descend again along the same road and reach the locality of Aplis (already passed on the outward journey) where it is possible to visit the Wood Museum and of the Venetian sawmill. (you can decide to visit the museum already on the way)
Off now, towards the hamlet of Muina, with its typical houses of the Val Degano to then head to the splendid village of Raveo , all worth visiting (Borgo antico). We now move to Villa Santina to take the cycle route via FVG 8a and return to Ovaro. On the way back, you can also visit the former coal mine of Cludinico (the tour lasts about 3 hours and can be done on Saturday and Sunday by reservation and with a minimum of 10 people).
