Carnia Cycling Tour is a package of 4 cycling routes, of medium difficulty, designed and created to introduce the cyclist to the territory, nature, history, and culture of Carnia.

4 tours, averaging 50 km in distance and 900 meters in altitude difference, to be done on an eBike or classic mountain bike. Along their route, you will come across natural, historical, and cultural points of interest to visit and admire. Waterfalls, fossils, museums, churches, and historical memories abound and vary across all 4 routes.

You can find information and descriptions of the points to visit through short cards directly on your cell phone, from the website www.carniacyclingtour.com (routes) where you will find explanatory slides.

Tips

To ensure that the tour becomes a pleasant experience in the Carnia mountains, we recommend some precautions:

1. Plan your outing well, especially calculate the times so that you can visit the points of interest indicated, and study well where to stop for lunch break, as well as to recharge, if necessary, the electric bike.

2. Remember that you are always in a mountain area and the weather changes rapidly, especially in the afternoon, always bring clothing to protect yourself from the rain and look for shelter if necessary.

3. Prepare all the equipment for any punctures, the tours are almost entirely on asphalt, but a flat tire is always lurking.

4. If you are alone, remember to inform someone where you are going, what route you are taking, and maybe at certain times where you are.

5. Strictly respect the traffic rules, we have tried to plan the tours on state, provincial, and municipal roads with little traffic, but despite this, there is danger.

Since there are points of interest to visit along the routes, you will find bike stands at the sites, but to avoid not being able to lock the bike, we recommend bringing a lock with a chain.
